The name of Duck's Echo Sound comes from a urban legend which claims that (for reasons unknown to scientists) a duck's quack does not echo. Of course, as is the case with most such legends, this is absolutely untrue*. Thus it serves as the perfect inspiration for us here at DES, where we strive to prove that there truly is no such thing as an impossible sound!
